How I Help

Executive Coaching
Focused, candid partnership for leaders and builders navigating transition, burnout, or new challenges.

Organizational Alignment
Identify what’s creating drag across leadership, culture, strategy, and execution—then establish a clear path forward.

Strategic Assessment and Consulting
Research and a structured review of conversations, systems, processes, and communications that reveals root causes and produces an actionable plan.

Leadership and Board Advisory
Practical support for governance challenges, stakeholder conflict, organizational change, and values-driven decision-making.

We all need a partner with perspective.

I partner with leaders, independent builders and creators for discernment and actionable insight through targeted, purposeful, time-limited coaching and consulting.

Addressing root causes accelerates long-term value creation.

You can’t get there quickly without a guide.

Let’s begin with a conversation!

Cindy Chance, PhD, Founder

Cindy Chance, PhD. wearing a black turtleneck sweater and hoop earrings, stands outdoors in an urban setting with blurred buildings and cars in the background.

I’m a philosopher/practical ethicist, founder, recovered professional association CEO, higher education leader, and educator, with decades of experience identifying what is keeping people and organizations stuck quickly. You need discernment, a purpose and values driven strategy, and a path forward. The presence of values talk is not the same as values in action toward goals. If you can tell the difference, I can help. I’ve learned what breaks people and organizations, and what builds them, and it’s industry agnostic human stuff: purpose, values, honesty.

The world needs good people making a difference.

Move quickly toward results and lasting change. If you are considering working with me, you may be feeling fed up and yet determined. Together, we quickly define goals, refine approaches, and drive results.

You get deeper insight, a deeper connection with purpose, and lasting change based on my “cut to the chase” curiosity about you and your industry, and structured approaches honed over decades of leadership within mission driven organizations — including Georgetown University, the Urban Land Institute.

Waiting another year costs money, opportunity, and energy flowing in the wrong direction. The point is not a quick fix, but sufficient investment to ensure lasting growth.

Individual and organizational change is possible in fewer than 90- days. For lasting change, I recommend a structured six-month executive coaching engagement as a starting point.

Start with a process that puts values first

Diagnostic — Surface what’s actually broken. Most leaders are misdiagnosing their own situation.

One-on-One — Conversations with you and your key leaders to understand what’s operating beneath the surface.

Systems Review — Business communications, process and document review to validate what the conversations reveal.

Strategy — This isn’t just handed to you. We work through findings together until you are satisfied we have identified root causes and can benchmark starting now to build a new path forward.

Actionable Plan — A realignment plan with continued accountability and benchmarking so progress is visible and measurable. An implementation partner for if you need it.
